Organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the UN in Geneva, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the IDEA Public Association, the exhibition explores urgent ecological concerns through the prism of contemporary art. The Baku edition will feature works by leading Azerbaijani artists — Diana Aliyeva, Elshan Karaca, Erkin Alakbarli, Gunel Ravilova, Javid Ilham, Leyla Aliyeva, Mirali Seyidov, Nazrin Khalafova, and Nazrin Mammadova — alongside new artistic contributions created specifically for this iteration.
The Baku edition broadens the project’s scope by inviting new participants. We welcome proposals from painters, sculptors, multimedia, and interdisciplinary artists engaging with themes of water, sustainability, climate change, and marine biodiversity. Selected works will expand the exhibition’s dialogue on ecology, creativity, and shared responsibility for our planet.
